There are a lot of people, who think about starting a career in real estate sales. It looks fascinating, the freedom to create your own schedule, to be in control of how much you earn, and to have your own business. The reality though is not the exact picture as one would think, over one third of new real estate agents leave the business in their first three years.
The biggest factor is that they haven’t researched the real estate business to determine if they have the required skill set to be successful. Just Like any other careers there are some skills and traits that can help set you on a path to success. Most real estate agents begin their day by looking at the previous day's market activity. This is usually on a report. It identifies them what sold, new listings, price changes and other activity in their respective market.
You should know early on that real estate sales are not a “get rich quick” career. To get to the top position as a producer in real estate, it takes business planning, patience, people skills, and resilience in addition to many other sub sets of skills. Many upcoming agents are not aware of the fact they need a financial reserve to get them through the first six to twelve months in the business to pay household and personal expenses in addition to start-up and marketing costs related to their new real estate sales business. Working with buyer clients isn't just driving them around looking at homes or other properties. There's a great deal of preparation involved in determining their needs, finding suitable properties and gathering information to help your buyer clients to make decisions.

Daily Responsibilities of Real Estate Sale Person - Agents
• Agent should keeps up with market activity.
• See what's involved in a hot sheet analysis.
• Agent should spend time each day in getting paperwork to the right places, explaining contract items to clients, coordinating
• Inspections, reviewing documents and more.
• Working with buyer prospects and clients:
• Go far beyond the basic requirement and get knowledge about all facets of the business.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 GCE Levels credits
• Minimum 21 years old and above
• Singaporeans or Permanent Residents only
You will have a proven and consistent track record of performance. You will be recognized for the quality service to client and candidates. You will need to demonstrate leadership qualities that will enable you to support internal change initiatives and champion service standards in this selection area.
