It has a strong law enforcement force and the judicial system is very swift

There are never any riots, protests or strikes by workers or people on the streets unlike other Asian countries. There is strict law enforcement here and those who involve in the protests and strikes will be instantly jailed and fined. Death penalty for drug trafficking, murder and kidnap still exists.

It’s quite safe to roam the streets in the night even for women who are alone. Of course crimes will occur, but they are relatively less than in other parts of Asia. In fact the locals joke that the police arrives before the robbers have left. This is because Singapore is a city state and is very small.

Great climate all year round

The climate of Singapore stays the same throughout the year. Though it is surrounded by the sea, it doesn’t face any typhoons. It’s usually sunny throughout the year. All Singaporeans carry an umbrella, because you never know when it might rain. Since it’s so sunny, the air conditioning is very effective in all shopping and business and office establishments.

Networking

Most of the top corporate and Fortune 500 companies have their headquarters here. From here they can control their South East Asia and Mid Asia businesses. Many top banks, manufacturing companies, and insurance companies are based here.

Since it has great access to European and the US markets, many of the Chinese and Indian companies are also setting up shop in Singapore. It is a big international port and harbor and millions of dollars worth of trade is conducted through export and import here.

Many foreign workers use this as a base to find better paying jobs and employment opportunities in the US and European markets. Even immigration rules are extremely lenient. As long as workers have the necessary working permits and visas, they can easily work here.

Transportation

Since the country is a city nation, you can travel from one end of Singapore to another in matter of one hour. The public transport system is extremely efficient and runs till late in the night. All areas of Singapore are well connected. It has the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) trains and buses. All taxis are metered and run efficiently. The roads are well connected too.

Education system

The education system is wonderful and of top class. There are many schools, colleges and University and students are encouraged to do well in studies. There are several polytechnics as well as institutions that offer specialized training for skills such as business management. Many choose to stay back and work in Singapore after completing their formal education.
