Why You Should Become A Property Agent
The main reason why you should become a real estate agent is because of the money that you can earn when you work in the Singapore real estate as an agent. You may or may not be aware but you can actually earn a lot of money as commission when you sell the properties of someone else. When you are starting out, you will need to spend a lot of time as well as money to market the properties.
Needless to say, if you are new then you may not know a lot of people and in this situation it can be a little tough for you to sell the Singapore real estate properties as you do not know many potential buyers. However, just like other successful agents you will be able to get more knowledge and experience with time.
So how much money can a Singapore property agent make?
Actually, this will vary from person to person and the amount you earn every month will depend on what you sell and where you work. Some brokerage will charge you 50% of the commission on sales while others may allow you to keep 100% commission but they will charge you some amount of money for using their office. This will vary from firm to firm. If you are just starting out then I will advise you not to work for a brokerage that charges you a fixed amount for the use of the office and the services of as secretary. After you have worked for sometime as a Singapore property agent, then you can consider opting working for this kind of firm.
So how can a Singapore real estate agent sell plenty of Singapore properties?
Here’s how:
• You should make a list of the many properties that have been put up for sale. The more properties you have listed, the more chances there will be of earning more money. You should not just work with buyers only but you should also work with sellers. In fact, it will be to your advantage if you work more with the sellers than the buyers.
• Find out how you can effectively sell the properties to the buyers. You should know that selling is not an easy task because convincing the potential buyers to buy is actually a lot difficult than most people think.
• You should concentrate on selling high priced properties that have the potential to sell of fast. The amount of time and money you spend to market the properties (high priced or low priced) will be the same so it will be a good idea to sell high priced properties.
