Keys To Bringing Things Together Flawlessly
Have you recently purchased a great deal of properties? Are you part of a Charity or Trust that purchases and oversees a whole assortment of properties for different community or charitable functions? If so, then having someone on your team who has the know-how and experience in this type of work is the most profitable business decision you can make. There are many different agents and agencies out there that in this as a routine part of their business.
Who do I choose? This is more than likely your first question. This is also the first, most important step in an all important business or personal decision. Hiring the right person and company to do this work is as important as hiring the right person in any other position. With this in mind, check to see if the agent and their company have a proven track record in successful management of their other client’s investments. Have they been able to keep their other clients happy in terms of keeping those hard-earned property investments in their client’s possession? Talk to the agent that you want to work with and ask them what their track record is as far as this goes. Ask for references from other satisfied clients. Show the agent your portfolio and ask him or her about the strategies they would use to oversee your hard-earned investments.
I am shifting in focus here to the agent’s side of this deal. Remember the old axiom that goes… “Possession is 9/10ths of the Law”; so you need to be certain that you can keep you client’s properties in their possession. This is what will distinguish you and your company from all of your competition. The best investment strategies involve knowing the current market trends and where the best market investments are. Keeping your client’s property in their possession is the biggest key here. What types of strategies do you have in mind to accomplish this goal? Having the latest market trend information possible is a great place to start.
Are you part of a team that are in this type of investment? Having one or several financial advisors as part of your team allows you to have constant access to the very latest information about the investment picture as a whole. This is also a crucial part of knowing what your clients need and how to keep them “in the know” about how well their investments are doing. Having real estate appraisers on staff allows you to keep your clients up-to-date about the values of their properties.
If you, as a property owner, know exactly what your property is worth… at current market values; the better you are in terms of knowing what you can and cannot do monetarily. This is another step on this very complex, yet very simple, ladder of Investment Management success. Having all of these services and key players in place and top partners in each of their chosen fields will keep you in everyone’s mind.
