Singapore Job
There are different kinds of jobs in Singapore and the jobs are not limited to the locals of the nation only. If you are on a holiday in Singapore and would like to earn some money then you can also search for a job here. Yes, you did not hear anything wrong. I did say that you can now work in Singapore even though you are holidaying in the country. The reason for this is that Singapore is trying to attract skilled and talented migrants and it can do this by offering jobs to vacationers. The country also wishes to increase its population from 4.5 to 6.5 million people and it can do this by offering jobs to graduates from different countries to work in Singapore. It has been found that the total number of jobs increased by fifty thousand in the first three moths of the year 2007. This is a very good sign as there are more employment opportunities for not only its local people but also for people who come to Singapore for holidays.
About one-third of the work force in Singapore is foreigners who are living and working in Singapore. The Singaporean Government is taking necessary measures to ensure that people from foreign land, talented and skilled people, would come to Singapore and work in the country. This is the reason why there has been a massive increase in the number of expats from several countries such as England, Korea, United States, Japan and France. Many citizens of Singapore do not like going in to the construction and marine industries and this is the reason why the Government of Singapore is looking for and accepting an increasing number of foreigners who are willing to get in to these fields. The Government of Singapore has also decided to permit foreigners to work in services and production. However, it will not allow foreigners to work in stalls and small retail stores. Apart from your salary, you may also receive other allowances.
If you have decided to move to Singapore to work in the country then you will have to prepare yourself not only physically but also mentally for living in Singapore is going to be very different from the life in your own home country. First of all, you will not know any one in Singapore so you will have to depend on yourself to get every little thing done. When you arrive in Singapore, you will have to look for accommodation where you would be staying. Of course, many companies would help you out in accommodation but it is always wise to ask, regarding accommodation, before you actually arrive in Singapore. If you are thinking of buying or renting a car during your stay in Singapore then let me remind you that you may have to spend quite a lot of money on maintaining a car. So it is always recommended that you use public transport as public transport is not only easy to use but also very convenient.
