A survey that was carried out by the national association of realtors shows that 70 percent of the property agents came from non-real estate fields and they include retail, government and armed forces. Not all property agents have property management or sales experience skills only twenty five percent have the right skills.
Property agents who sell more properties in Singapore are usually promoted so that they can become managers or agents in charge of a given area or state. By being a manager you will help in finding properties to lease, purchase and to rent. Other property agents who are financial stable can open their own offices or organization. Property agents who mainly deal with finances can become Singapore property loan agents and they will help buyers to get Singapore Property Mortgage. Property agents who are so successful usually take this as a full time job rather than a part time job.
In order to be a property agent a college degree is not necessary what is required is a high school diploma or a certificate of equivalency. Thou if you have done college courses in communication and business it will make you to be even successful in this business.
But before one begins on the job, classroom training for three months is necessary so that one can be trained. Training normally helps the licensed staff and the staff to sharpen up their skills in business and to the service clients. After this the property agent can now apply to the state in which they are for a license. In order to succeed in this area a lot of hard work and patience is really needed.
