Property
Property is anything that is physical, intangible and it is owned by any person or owned by a group of people. For you to be the owner of the property or to be recognized as the owner of the property you must have a legal document which shows that it’s your property and the document must have the name of the owner or the organization. Depending on the nature of the property the owner of the property is at liberality to rent, transfer, exchange, destroy and even sell the property.
Property is usually divided in different groups: Intellectual property, private property, real property, public property and personal property. In Singapore there are rules that one has to follow for anyone who wants to own a property. Singaporeans that are below the age of 18 years cannot be in a position to own any kind of property as the government considers this person as young. If these rules were applied in each and every country it would have been better. In Singapore property is not a relationship between people and the things that one has, it is a relationship between people with things.
Singapore interferes with the property of an individually if he acquired the property unlawful. It may also deicide to interfere with the property if he acquired the property through corruption and forceful eviction. Land grabbing is very high especially in Singapore.
Personal property is a type of property that is not real and it is not attached to land. Personal property compared to real property has a short life span and they are things that can be measured, weighed, touched and felt. Examples of personal property include: personal effects, livestock, boats, cars, household goods, computers and machinery equipments. Rules in Singapore allow one to be in a position to rent the property as long as the owner of the property and the person who wants to rent agree with each other.
Personal property can also be classified as intangible and tangible. Tangible property is physical property. It can be moved from one place to another and they include things like tools, furniture, mobile and many more. Intangible properties include copyrights, stocks, trademarks, bonds, assets, patents and many more. The most popular type of properties in Singapore are residential. Each and every residential has a property agent or agencies who control the property and they are liberty to throw out any person who causes disturbance on the property.
There are different types of properties that one can find in Singapore as long he has money. Owning a property is the best asset an individual can decide to have. In some instances properties or property symbolize once richness while in others it’s a way of developing and becoming big in a given society or organization. Property can last as long as hundred years if proper care is given to the property. Properties are beneficial especially to people who have retired from working and they are relaxing at home.
